Paperspace co-founder and director Sombat Ngamchalermsak spoke at “Office Design for the New Generation of Workspace”, an event organised by the American Chamber of Commerce of Thailand. Held at the Sheraton Grand Sukhumvi in June 14, 2019 Sombat talked about the transition in workspace design from the “Me Space” into the “We Space” – from rows and rows of large individual desks to spaces more towards collaborative work.
Together with 2 other speakers, the co-founder of Paperspace Asia highlighted creating spaces for innovation will not be a short-lived trend, as organizations will always need spaces that generate more creativity for future success, and the “We Space” model offers the best chance for that outcome.
Ideas never happen at individual desks. You need to innovate to keep moving forward. When you have that “crazy-looking space”, it helps your people get that innovation, he said.
