SUMMARY

Aware is a privately held Technology Company focused on Business-to-Business (B2B) applications that remove redundant manual processes and drive down costs. They strive to break down technology barriers and provide intelligent and predictive solutions that optimize business results.

With the help of Paperspace, Aware was able to:

  • Showcase their strengths and entice talents to join the company.
  • Encourage their employees to work collaboratively and socialize given the open space.
  • Have a multi-purpose workplace where they can work, lounge, and play whenever they want without the need to go outside.

CHALLENGE

Turn the limited yet valuable space into a workplace and a showroom that will entice talents who will visit to join the company. Given that the company’s product is intangible, however, having a showroom type of workplace posed a challenge for Paperspace. Furthermore, the client has various ideas on how he wants to use the space, but is challenged in visualizing how the space would look like with elements on it.

SOLUTION

Given that the client had various ideas on how to use the space,  Paperspace drew tons of wooden measures as a reference to  exactly identify what the client was looking for. Together with the client,  Paperspace did a series of Mass studies to better understand how the  small yet valuable space will look like with elements in it. With the unique space and design that the client wanted, Paperspace prepared a Virtual Reality Presentation for the client to experience the space  and  learn more about how we can make the space into something memorable and interesting.

In order to incorporate a showroom feel into the workplace, they used movable furnitures, a lightbox instagram wall, brick wall with dark red painted finish, and a LED wall in the lounge area. They separated the meeting area, where a long table was placed in front of a 100 inch LED TV, by using a  magic glass partition.  Since the office space is small and there is no physical space to form functions, they used lighting technology instead. The lighting can be adjusted through a touch screen, and form different vibes from work, lounge, to play.  With just simple solutions, the space becomes flexible and can be used for working, showcasing, and even partying.
