In the bustling center of Makati, Philippines, Co Fitness is revolutionising the gym experience with cutting-edge technology. Embracing fitness innovation, the gym features TechnoGym’s advanced machines and the precision of the InBody 270 fitness assessment. Supported by certified trainers and fitness experts, Co Fitness aims to be Makati’s top destination for scientific and holistic fitness development.
Paperspace’s design focuses on functionality, ensuring ample space for state-of-the-art equipment and essential amenities. This approach meets the high standards expected of a leading commercial gym, blending technology and comfort seamlessly. The design also mirrors the client’s branding, making the space distinct and cohesive.
the challenge
The project faced space limitations, including low headroom in the inner area, requiring adjustments to layout and space allocations. The design needed to reflect the client’s branding with an industrial look that also feels inviting. Ensuring the gym was functional and safe while providing a luxurious experience was crucial, especially in areas like the locker and reception that offer a hotel-like feel.
the solution
The design maximised the available space, using open ceilings with mesh for an industrial feel and integrating rubber mats for safety and comfort. Customised lighting featuring the client’s initials was placed in the gym area. Highlighting technology, features like integrated TVs in the gym area and modern turnstiles for secure entry were included.
