Offered by SeaBank Philippines, Inc. (A Rural Bank), SeaBank is a mobile banking application that enables users to manage their finances seamlessly on their mobile phone, anytime and anywhere. SeaBank is part of Sea Limited (NYSE:SE), a global consumer internet company founded and headquartered in Singapore. It operates three core businesses across digital entertainment, e-commerce, as well as digital payments and financial services, known as Garena, Shopee, and SeaMoney
Establishing their office in the Philippines for the first time ever, SeaBank gave a clear design direction and spatial requirements based on their design playbook similar to their already existing offices across the region. Due to the successful delivery of the Shopee Philippines project, the same team/client appointed RCW Construction Development and Paperspace Philippines to do the SeaBank project as well.
the challenge
Fitting all the initial requirements in a single floor plate posed a challenge for the team. Paperspace managed to maximize the space and deliver what the client wanted, although certain compromises had to be made in the end.
the solution
Similar to Shopee, the designs were pretty much based on the company’s standard design playbook. Efficient planning, circulation and a creative way to implement their standards are keys for its successful delivery. Furthermore, the client was very satisfied with Paperspace meeting the expected delivery date. Having completed a 7-storey office from the Shopee project, in addition to the lessons we have learned from it, really helped in completing this project.
