project summary
UBS is a global financial services firm specialising in wealth management, investment banking, and asset management. With a significant presence in APAC, UBS sought to consolidate its operations across three separate locations into a single, world-class campus in Singapore. This move was not just a physical relocation, but a strategic investment in transforming employee and client experiences – preserving UBS’s global heritage while embracing multicultural diversity and future-proof ways of working.

the challenge
In moving to a single landmark campus, UBS needed to bring together 3,500 employees from three different locations, each with their own cultures and methods of working. The challenge was more than just moving to a new physical location – it was about tackling the complexities of blending different cultures to create a unified environment with a shared vision, across all levels of the organisation.

the solution
Paperspace Asia worked closely with UBS to co-create the vision for the new UBS campus. Working closely with leaders and 80 change champions, our change management programme introduced new top-down and bottom-up approaches to collaboration. Regular engagement with change champions ensured consistent two-way communication, empowering all employees to have their say in developing new workplace strategies.
A well-defined communications strategy was crafted and rolled out to maintain alignment, clarity, and consistency throughout the transformation. This inclusive and collaborative approach not only supported a smoother transition into the new campus but also fostered a more cohesive organisational culture – one that honours UBS’s global heritage while embracing the diversity of the APAC region.
